**In short:** Leading Future's Summer & Winter Schools and Study Tours bring students into leading UK universities such as Cambridge, UCL and Imperial for academic sessions, campus visits, team projects and cultural activities. Winter 2027 offers three programmes: the UK University Winter Programme, the UK University Exploration & AI Business study tour for undergraduates, and the SQA / UK Final-Year Study Experience. Fees are on enquiry.

Leading Future's summer and winter schools bring students into leading UK universities for an immersive mix of subject learning, campus experience, cultural exploration and interactive practice. Programmes draw on academic resources at universities such as Cambridge, Imperial College London and UCL, with lectures, practical activities and team projects at their core.

For winter 2027 there are three programmes: the UK University Winter Programme (10 days, 9 nights), exploring Cambridge, UCL, Imperial and more; the UK University Exploration & AI Business study tour for undergraduates in China considering a UK master's; and the UK Final-Year Study Experience for SQA students preparing to complete their degree in the UK. Past programmes include the 2025 UCL Frontier Robotics & Motion Mechanics Summer School.

**Who it's for:** Students — from those weighing up future university choices to undergraduates considering a UK master's — who want to experience UK university study first-hand.

## What's included

### Learning at leading universities

Academic sessions and exchanges with university academics and students at universities such as Cambridge, UCL and Imperial.

### Hands-on team projects

Case discussions, team projects and presentations turn lectures into practice — for example, designing an AI service idea and pitching a business model.

### Campus and city exploration

Campus visits, city exploration and cultural experiences such as punting on the Cam and a formal dinner, subject to availability and weather.

### Clearer plans for the future

Group discussions and personal planning help participants reflect on their interests and future study choices.

## How it works

## FAQ

### What is included in a Leading Future UK summer or winter school?

Programmes combine academic sessions, university campus visits, team projects and cultural activities. The UK University Winter Programme 2027, for example, runs for 10 days and 9 nights and explores universities including Cambridge, UCL and Imperial. Exact inclusions and fees are confirmed for each programme.

### Is there a programme for undergraduates thinking about a UK master's?

Yes. The UK University Exploration & AI Business study tour is a 9-day, 8-night programme for undergraduates in China, visiting eight universities and including eight hours of AI business classes over two days in Cambridge. No coding background is needed, and the programme does not promise any master's admission outcome.

### Will my child receive a certificate?

Our programmes can provide certificates and academic feedback, and some offer recommendation opportunities based on performance. What each participant receives depends on the specific programme, so please check the details with our team.
